The Ferry

The Ferry system is run by the State of Washington and is what ties the islands to each other and the mainland.  On the days we took the ferry we pretty much dominated the thing.  One interesting aspect to the ferry system is that while you have to pay to take the ferry from the mainland to the islands, once on the islands the ferry is free to pedestrians and bicyclists.  Here are some shots of the Ferry.
