The Ferry system is run by the State of Washington and is
what ties the islands to each other and the mainland. On the days we took
the ferry we pretty much dominated the thing. One interesting aspect to
the ferry system is that while you have to pay to take the ferry from the
mainland to the islands, once on the islands the ferry is free to pedestrians
and bicyclists. Here are some shots of the Ferry.

Here we're getting on the ferry on the second day.
Note the ferry is approaching the island
Note the fog rolling in.
The fog was incredible. The sky could be perfectly clear but a patch
of fog could still appear.
This shot is taken from on the upper deck of the ferry.
